Strokes and other illnesses that impact an individual’s fine motor skills can be debilitating. At ACS Home Care LLC, our goal is to help our clients regain the ability to perform everyday tasks and to live as independently as possible. Our occupational therapists develop a tailored plan suited to each individual’s needs and work with each client to assist them in relearning the motor skills necessary to achieve one’s goals. ACS Home Care LLC’s Occupational Therapists visit clients at home in order to help them:
- Develop a routine to meet one’s abilities after an injury, stroke or illness
- Hasten recovery after surgery with specialized exercises
- Learn different strategies which may incorporate the use of specifically designed equipment to assist in carrying out everyday responsibilities and tasks
Our goal is to help improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. ACS Home Care LLC’s Physical Therapists work with each client to create a program specifically suited to their needs and goals. We help our clients to develop the physical skills and confidence necessary to regain independence.
If a client requires more than one of ACS Home Care LLC’s rehabilitation services, our occupational and physical will work in a coordinated manner to deliver the care needed. Our goal is to provide the best care possible in an effort to get the client functioning and progressing quickly.
